In March our cat Megatron developed a tumor in his jaw, which proved to be cancer. We decided that as long as he wasn't hurting, we'd do our best to keep him comfortable. But night before last he stopped eating bc the tumor was too big for him to swallow food. Today, we had to say goodbye.

So happy to see this initiative come together. At first glance it’s a week-long summer school. Come a bit closer and notice that the facilitators come from a range of backgrounds and disciplines. A little closer again and notice the foregrounding of student voice and perspective. #EduSky

So proud of my wife, Elaine, who has the good sense not to be on here and has been promoted to Professor in law at the University of Manchester this week. An amazing scholar and a wonderful person who lifts up everyone around her. Yes, I am biased but I am also best placed to know.
