Here we go. By the end of today the dovetails should fit and *hopefully* I’ll have gotten good progress on the grooves for the bottom and the rabbet to fit into those grooves. #woodworking

New project fully in flight: Hope Chest for my mom, 3’x18”x14”. Will be engraved, dovetails, similar feet as my blanket chest, traditional hinge, hasp for sparkle, no paint. Body will be basswood, top will be ash, a bit of moulding will be cherry or oak. #woodworking
