    i think this post alone explains pretty much exactly how i see this whole thing, not wanting or trying to replace artists or devs or anyone with this tech and in fact i am pro whatever measures can protect humans from it, just trying to take what’s already been done and use it for good ig

    call me a doomer if you want and i get it, i just don’t think that it’s easy to convince anyone to do stuff on purely ethical grounds especially in the current media environment and just in the current international political environment at large

    I mean I could do what a lot of people in my space or adjacent ones do which is pretend none of this is happening and just not ever talk about it to avoid “controversy” since it’s such a hot topic but I do care about humans and workers and the world at large and I think this is the only way out

    I wish I could just say no all of this will die out when the bubble pops it’s just a matter of boycotting but the truth is that if you talk to anyone working as a dev rn they are either forced or just used to this now it’s going to be hard to just eradicate it, open stuff and regulation seems like
