Postu gösterAs Digital Circus ends, I can’t thank all of you enough for being a part of this incredible ride with me. I’ve felt like the luckiest man in the world voicing Caine, and I can’t wait to share with you the projects I’m working on going forward! Be good to each other. Alex out.
Postu gösterThe underlying idea of Leeroy at the end is to keep holding on, no matter how bad it gets, and to let others in to help you. You never know what’s on the horizon and you CAN make changes to make your life better, so don’t give into despair.
Postu gösterAbstraction isn’t necessarily a 1:1 allegory for death by suicide so much as it’s like losing oneself in any kind of mental health spiral, including addiction. How everyone visits Jax and the other abstractions also reminds me of visiting a loved one in long-term care or inpatient treatment.
Postu gösterCaine showing everyone their human lives reminds me of the ending to the film Cinema Paradiso; it’s a love letter from Caine showing the humans there’s hope, and that they’re more than their dysfunctions… the ultimate tragedy is that Jax, after his ordeals in the Circus, didn’t see it that way.
