    The problem with this challenge is that "seeing images with closed eyes" is a necessarily subjective experience. My understanding is the FMRI can substantiate activity in the brain consistent with visual processing but the experience itself is subjective. A "soul" is not.

    I don't need to demonstrate to you that other people see images when they close their eyes. What is that even supposed to mean?! I know I don't see images when I close my eyes. I know I am not convinced of "soul" -- the idea that some aspect of my consciousness and personality survives my death.

    I also have aphantasia. I persist. Demonstrate by way of objectively verifiable evidence that "soul" is a real thing.
