I remember that seeming like a watershed moment as a kid. It was so, so, SO rare to see video games - especially something recent - directly referenced in any other medium, because most adults didn't play them yet.

Postu gösterI wonder if they removed things like this for the same reason they killed Mario. Link wouldn't be mean to Zelda - that option could take players out of the emotional experience, make it a joke. I get it, but I miss these small opportunities for player expression. We can't even name Link anymore :(
