  Because apparently this needs to be said: if you’re part of a coordinated disclosure process the appropriate thing to do is to talk to the rest of the group before you make unilateral decisions because the process is *coordinated*. It’s right there in the name Don’t agree to that? Don’t be in one

  "AI can't create new things" is a bad rationalization of a real issue I think. Obviously AI can create new things, it's trivially easy to have AI generate an image that has never existed before for instance. The real question is about the cost of costless creation. What we lose in the process.

  And if the argument is that AI creation is purely derivative, well, yeah. So is human creation if you don't believe that the mind is magic. It's thermodynamics really.

  also, the thing with having consumers vibe out a game for their own consumption- there's a reason direct democracy is a bad idea there's a reason we don't let customers pick every ingredient at restaurants either learn the craft or leave it up to those who practice it
