Postu gösterThe site can identify when MTA actually *does something* to address really bad bus service, like holding a bus or in this case short turning it to fill a giant service gap. An attempt was made, but too it wasn't really effective. You see very little of this actually happening.
Postu gösterI have finally used AI to build something kinda useful, but for like 3 people. I love @transsee.bsky.social and the subway stringline site but I wanted something just for NYC buses. So now I have buses.airlineflyer.net. All @mta.info bus routes plotted, analyzed for operational issues & bunching.
Postu gösterSupporting transit is one of the best ways to attack the energy crisis head-on. It’s not only one of the best ways to deliver structural cost of living relief, it will improve our economy and national security by insulating us from this fuel cost shock and future fuel cost shocks.
