With lots of work from Klara Žinkovič who joined us for her Master's thesis, @schota.bsky.social, @suryagayet.bsky.social, @stigchel.bsky.social, and Leon Kenemans. (4/4)
Postu gösterAs an bonus, this display also let us make a graphic of how attention is distributed over the entire visual display when, for example, a patch on the outside of the display is cued (timestamp relative to cue onset): (3/4)
Postu gösterWe used a display with 8 (the most yet!) RIFT-tagged patches, but only 4 unique frequencies, for a spatial cueing task. Opposite patches = same frequency, different phase. We could still discern attentional differences between "cued" and "uncued" patches tagged at the same frequency. (2/4)
Postu gösterIt's already cool that we can use neural responses to *invisible* flickers of different frequencies to track covert attention (with RIFT), but in a new preprint we show you can even track attention between tags at the same frequency (using phase): www.biorxiv.org/content/10.6... (1/4)
