Confession; I never before acquired any one of the GMT COIN games. No clue why, so don't ask. That has changed. Will arrive soon, at the office.

I understand 2/3mm in theory, I get the premise and I've seen some truly stunning armies, but it's too far away from the 'heroes' for me to play games like that, if that makes sense.

I always forget 6mm miniatures are like chum in the water. There's nobody else like 6mm fans that are as fiercely and vocally into the *size* of their stuff, absolutely heedless of era or game.

I vote planes at 3mm. Tank markings somehow seem tougher to nail in a "realistic" way at 3mm but aircraft often have simpler roundels that easily stand out. Also a 3mm Lancaster for example is still pretty huge!

So far I think the only relatively common gaming sizes I haven't touched are 2/3mm - though if that's common I'll eat a shoe - or 54mm, and likewise that's hardly common. 6, 10, 15, 20, 28, 'Heroic' 32; ben thar, dan thet!
