I'm sorry but some of you need to hear this. You can compliment an artist's work without comparing that work to another artist's work or your hyperfixation. It's ... so awkward, even if you disregard the fact it's a bit rude. Sometimes I don't KNOW what my art/character is being compared to.
Postu gösterIt's possible to train yourself out of this habit, by the way; I did. Instead of saying "this is cool because it reminds me of THING" I think about what I love about THING and use some of those qualities to describe what draws me to it and why I think it's neat. I also try to leave a question!
Postu gösterWhat am I supposed to do when I don't know the series or character you're comparing my work to? Saying so means you will want to explain why the thing you like is so cool and gradually we move further and further away from ... the art I made. I want to TALK about my creations. Not some anime. 🥲
Postu gösterI'd be down to trade! Most of my stickers are here (chaobunnyfanarts.bigcartel.com/category/sti...), but I also have some Pokemon + dinosaur ones I haven't listed that I can photograph if you want to see them!
Postu gösterMY BABIES FROM @loppyrae.bsky.social HAVE ARRIVED. I'm shook because I forgot they were coming 🥹 They're very good quality and so adorable!!! All of them have such good designs but I landed on Grave Robbert and Mumbles. The accessories from Grave Robbert is awesome 🙏🏼
