Before ChatGPT, Google had already made its plans to introduce LLMs into education well known. In 5 years it's gone from shonky demos to forcing it into schools via existing Chromebook purchases and Classroom contracts and licences. www.fastcompany.com/90641049/goo...

Far be it from me to make strong predictions, but I do find myself wondering whether ICE over the past 2 years will have the same effect of party-consolidation for Latinos that the 1964 CRA and 1965 VRA had for Black voters. Black voters went back-and-forth between the parties pre-1960s!
