In #MathsToday, Year 10 did some Pie Charts, including some pie chart puzzles from: www.stem.org.uk/resources/li... And Year 8 did some 'Best Buy'ing. I also had a nice conversation about methods for factorising non-monic quadratics. #TeamGrid

I think this will be my last otherwise it will lose its effect. I have always found the notion of being a positive male role model problematic because in some cases this will be the only time some boys will be held accountable by a woman

I totally agree with this. Something our place seems to be doing is changing who delivers them so that pupils see a united voice so if Mr A delivered to a Y8 last year, maybe this year Mr B or Miss C could and Mr A could do Year 7 instead?
