It’s a long gone era when schools were funded by local authorities and distribution of funding was based on the challenges each school faced. Early intervention made a huge difference especially with SALT intervention. What most parents dint realise is the correlation between language skills 1/2

It was also about long term monitoring with specialist teachers supporting and building on the work of key professionals over a number
Postu göster3/3 years. Approx 2007 I employed FT SALT, ED Psych - 3 day Week, OT - 3 day week. 2qualified Specialist Teachers (SpLD & MSI) . Primary school in a deprived area. The difference we made was enormous. That’s why I am so pro qualified interventions/support.
