idk i just think often when people discuss wx and relationships or sex(uality) it tends to get personalized and people talk about what they want for these characters rather than what's actually there, so to speak. but I'm just free associating atp lmao
Postu gösterI think some of this is reflective of my own outlook on this kind of thing as well since I don't equate sex with love and don't see virginity as indicative of anything on a personal or moral level at all. it's just a choice. sex is a choice. these have the meanings we give them
Postu gösterI also don't think it makes them any less their virtuous selves to not be virgins either, and the implication that it does is pretty juvenile at best and weirdly conservative at worst, and sadly this is an attitude that does bleed through when this subject comes up
Postu gösterthe way we relate to things like sex and relationships is 1000 percent influenced by our environment and the social attitudes within and this should go without saying, so in a modern AU, ideally I would want to see wx affected by the social mores and values of their time and place
