    I am not saying people need to be propaganda for Dems. But what I am saying is that the deck is stacked. Social media, video content, algorithms — it’s all a rigged game. The end result is people hating Democrats. It took a lunatic president committing all the crimes to get anyone to break free.

    Ever since 2016, politics has moved more and more online. And in that time, the internet has grown more and more hostile towards Dems. They just had a landslide the scale of which hasn’t been seen in 50 years. What were the streamers and influencers and writers saying? Toss out the leaders. Why?

    What there is not is a countervailing narrative that says, “Democrats are pretty OK!” I’m not saying it’s not equivalent in scale (although it isn’t). I’m saying it doesn’t exist at all. Podcasts, feeds, outlets that start as supportive or even agnostic of Dems eventually turn into anti-Dem slop.

    Here’s the problem: There is SO much criticism of Democrats on the internet, there is no such thing as something small. It is 24/7. It is non-stop. It is being done in good faith, bad faith, by republicans, by leftists, by democrats, by state actors, by journalists. The scale is unfathomable.
