should people who graduate have particular skills that make them attractive to employers? yes, broadly speaking - but it depends on the employer and also the degree, but the number of university graduates getting “graduate level jobs” depends most obviously on the number of jobs there are out there

the number and quality of jobs available on the jobs market is the responsibility of the government of the day, and of the employers offering the jobs. this is largely to do with structural factors that are largely international in scope, but also heavily to do with state investment priorities

Neoliberal trope scapegoating the poor, old, sick, disabled. Silent on corporate welfare, Inequitable distribution of wealth, Profiteering causing poverty, Full state pension less than 50% of minimum wage. People relying on benefits because work doesn't pay. Tax abuse by corporations and rich.
