Hell, even googling パリピ has articles popping up about the trend in 2018 the same year season 1 of the anime released. When she was introduced in season 2 that was only 3 years out. Ppl misattribute パリピ as early 2000s gyaru but no it says plain as day on Japanese Wikipedia the gyaru パリピ is mid 2010s

They were online, the slang lists from 2018 are the things Helios says, in fact many of the things she says in EN were already popular terms during this time Sure she maybe mashes in some older words and her own too… but so does EN, alongside referencing current stuff to where it fits with Gens Z/α
