Ver posti was talking to some people on the ao3 subreddits (very toxic, would not recommend) and i came to the realization that a lot of people who read fic and thus follow the sub don't... participate in fandom? like at all? like they read ao3 and that's it
Ver postI have this bias, thinking fandom folk are techy to some degree, because I'm from the age of fandom where you NEEDED to be techy to even partake. And I acknowledge the bias and I know it's there and it still kneecaps me. Every. Time. Because what do you MEAN people don't know any better anymore?!
