Ver posti was talking to some people on the ao3 subreddits (very toxic, would not recommend) and i came to the realization that a lot of people who read fic and thus follow the sub don't... participate in fandom? like at all? like they read ao3 and that's it

And I acknowledge the bias and I know it's there and it still kneecaps me. Every. Time. Because what do you MEAN people don't know any better anymore?!
