    I do think it's going to be extremely fucking challenging in a world that's sort of stuck in post-truth. However, I think that's one of the biggest disservices Western culture has done to the world so far. It's extremely hard to do good science in a post-factual world.

    I hope, partially with large language models, we'll come to a point where pop science becomes science education fully. When you don't need to learn as many hard methods, I think it'll be much easier for curiosity to lead to new scientific discoveries.

    One of the most off-putting parts of Phil math to me has been the humansm and and the conflation of romance of mathematics with the idea that mathematicians should be neurotypical white men with no interesting ideas, doing small incremental science for citations. At conferences, no one cares about

    I think, at least historically in math, we do have to concede that the types that did things that are really cool were shot in duels, neurodiverse, living in the mountains, rejecting Fields Medals and, doing cool shit.
