It would probably still have been a good story but I'd have treated it more like, say, Shadowbringers rather than something very personal (my estimation of a lot of Dawntrail's back half is also very shaped by first playing it while still coming to terms with a death in the family)
Ver post(TW loss) I think with some space from playing it if I hadn't played E33 after having just earlier that year been on medication to help me with depression related to a relative's illness and death I doubt the story would have landed so hard with me
