Ver postwhen i am a mother I vow to not just care about my children's lives, but actually SHOW that I care. hyping them up when they do great things, letting them know how proud I am. comforting and encouraging them when things go wrong. giving them guidance when they're lost and scared.

But in reality, they rarely go out of their way to SHOW they care and just expect us to know.
