    TLDR, budgets / goals are helpful, but I think the best thing you can do is look at pages by volume of traffic impact and CWV, sort by worst — improve, then move to the next one.

    Passing Core Web Vitals (all metrics green) is a really good start, though I’d also extend it to say that CLS should just never happen at all. Budgets for file transfer sizes are less useful, but can be good to keep in check.

    Forcing a dark theme is great, but what about forcing a light theme for people who are impacted by conditions such as astigmatism, myopia, and presbyopia, which often make white text on black backgrounds difficult to see? I don't know why forced light mode is never offered.
