  It already stopped working because GDP per capita isn't growing, we're just kicking the can down the road, and don't even kick it too far. Plus, immigration is not a sustainable source of labour to rely on! It can dry out (Easter European immigration already did), what's next then?

  Good luck with this project! I fear it will be rejected by the urban elite progressive faction which is so well-represented here on Bluesky and which continues to lead center-left parties toward electoral irrelevance and oblivion

  Biraderi culture is both very patriarchal and misogynistic and emphasises "community" solutions to problems that encourage cover up and conspiracy of silence. You have to be wilfully blind to pretend it isn't, or that the cultural, social and political values of Pakistan are liberal democratic.
