    it's very impressive how they perfectly executed the vibe of a Z-list FMV game from 1994 or a public access sci-fi movie where everyone is vaguely uncomfortable and doesn't wanna be there, except meticulously animated in CG so these are all intentional directive choices.

    feel like at some point there was some coherent vision to the general vibe of the world here but somewhere along the way thru millions of dollars and the pursuit of "it's a modern sony game so it has to be Real" they unintentionally landed on "Channel Awesome parody of a game that doesn't exist"

    When playing the game, it really did sound this awkward, but also, these were the only voice lines you'd hear picking characters, they didn't have any others like you might expect. The same stilted oneliner every time.
