  For example, YouTube seems to love my music, I get lots of plays and comments there, but on the same line Spotify is a ghost town. That seems to me a clear difference not in audience interest but in algorithmic promotion. People will only talk about what's popular, and that depends on the algo

  As far as audience listening habits... Yeah, I don't think furries are much more inclined than general audiences to explore genres. It's just the nature of modern music distro. Algorithms bias most audiences to gravitate towards a few popular artists, even if there is niche but quality work nearby.

  I think those discussions can extend far past a raw release date. I think it's reasonable to say "following a major release" could be up to a year following. Most of the discussions I've seen as of recently revolve primarily around the success of Horse Club which released back in the spring!
