Ver postI'd put one test in the feature brief: can a designer configure, preview and roll back a second event without a code change? Genuinely new mechanics can stay explicit feature work, so the config tool has a clear boundary.
Ver postPersonally, I don't care much about what's trending as sales and comments can be botted or bought, I search by the genres I play or most recently launched, read the descriptions, verify there's no AI, and then make my own decisions based on company intel and game footage.
Ver postPersonally, beyond my recommendation lists, I follow some curators and also just browse the new games everyday to see if anything goes into my wishlist. Social media has so much slop and AI glorification that the best way for me is to filter directly on source.
Ver postI dont use consoles, but no way id trade in my copy of a game, seems crazy they dont already have a license a physical copy. As it is I have to download save & decouple my Steam games so I actually have them. Cloud storage, services, & internet are far too unreliable to rely on.
