Want to listen to bats? @wildlifeacoustics.com is running a bat week sale (& a bat year sale) on their Echo Meter Touch 2, which works as an ultrasonic microphone for smart phones (connecting via USB-C charging port). With their free app it lets you listen to bats and identify the species you hear.

Some species, like the European Nightjar (Caprimulgus europaeus), have been used by researchers there to locate Itombwe Nightjar. #AfricanSoundsWebinar
Voir le post@wildlifeacoustics.com #AfricanSoundsWebinar I love how your devices are able to support such a diverse range of research all over the world. The fact that passive acoustic monitoring devices allows us to gather long-term data in dangerous areas is a game-changer for biodiversity monitoring.
