I wait to get the papers out of the box as the shopkeeper opens the shop door because it’s drizzling. She opens up and I carry the papers in. Doug arrives and says ‘It’s a wet un!’ He tells me that they may be altering the cricket club to accommodate more diners. A woman comes in and buys Red Bull.
