The stats on 2013 top ships is like someone walking over my grave 😅 just a long litany of every major LJ-era old-school slash pairing. What a trajectory we've since had.
Voir le postHiiii (late) Would also like this to be the place for fandom
Voir le post@annehelen.bsky.social shouting out TCBY in last week’s Culture Study made my day as someone who once went out of her way during a layover in Charlotte just for some white chocolate mousse (just checked and apparently that location is gone, too, though there are a few left elsewhere!)
Voir le postShame them mercilessly and loudly, but also acknowledge that millions of us were enormous lifelong fans who also walked away the moment Rowling started posting her transphobia on main. We're not at fault for having once loved the series, and when you mock everyone who loved it you miss the point.
Voir le postI need the Harry Potter rants to come with 100% less fan-shaming adults who loved the series. It is absolute bullshit to shame someone for loving children's fantasy, one of the most popular literary genres in existence. Obvs shame them for still clinging to it now. Not for having ever loved it.
