I sincerely hope you *also* pointed out that the collective for FISH is 'school'... ...and whales are NOT fish, they are mammals that give live birth. Just another reason it ain't 'school'. 😒

I also got a chemistry professor who insisted carbon dioxide was not poisonous and I spent my allotted computer time that afternoon printing out info about it for her the next day and she was like "....okay?" and ignored it.

When I was in 8th grade, my social studies teacher slipped up and called Africa a country on like the second day of class or something and I raised my hand to correct him and he was like. Ah. One of those. But he enjoyed it; I have had other teachers who did not, and it was always obvious so fast.

I was shocked in college to find out many teachers don’t enjoy their subjects or teaching but just picked it as a stable career
