If an engineering degree is free but you pay full tuition to study literature then a humanities degree of any kind becomes something only accessible to the rich because no working class person in their right mind would do it. This turns the arts into a nepotism factory far worse than even today.
Voir le postI think it's a manifold problem. Market consolidation has limited the number of viable paths in the economy and distorted the value of labor. Not everyone should go to college, nor should they need to to receive dignity, but that's become the expectation. We need a better vocational system.
