I also recommend the book "complex ptsd: from surviving to thriving" by pete walker. It's got some flaws in the writing and framing but there's a lot of good tools in it. It

    My personal experience was realizing I was just very demi. I was initially capable physically of being intimate or sexual w. many folks I wasn't close to, but only through it through force of intense masking, and eventually I just couldn't do that anymore either. Now, late 30s, I need the closeness.
