    We did not just collectively wake up and decide to "be annoying," we have been playing the game for three years, and have heard all this information many times. It is said by Astarion, by the Narrator, etc. You don't even have to "dig" for this info. It is referenced many times.

If searching for the lines you missed is what you need, maybe check it before you post next time, and give some grace that Asty fans might know what they're talking about.
