    More big news: Gadi Eisenkot has received enough endorsements from the Knesset to form a government in Israel. We still have to wait for him to be officially given the mandate on Sunday, but this should mean that Benjamin Netanyahu has been defeated and is out as Prime Minister.

    If I had one word to describe the mood among the PhD students in my lab, especially ones who have been with us tracking "rigged election" rumors for multiple election cycles, it's LIBERATED. I've never see some of these young people smile quite the way they are smiling today (and yesterday).
