A new persona h-comic is like an oasis in the desert of slop scribble so I can tag this lol
Ver postSorry this ended up so long. It may not flow the best as I wrote it as the thoughts came. Maybe I should have made a 4 hour video essay lol
Ver postAs a final note, some people criticize Rise for being obsessed with the MC. Personally, I'd argue her forwardness is incredibly charming and actually gives her more agency as a romantic option than most. Is it a power fantasy? Of course, it's fucking Persona. The entire premise is a power fantasy
Ver postThis seems to lead to some people having the opinion that "tofu Rise" was more interesting. To each their own but I find that to be a sad outlook as it ignores a good story of rediscovering your passion. It is also again rejecting a character because they don't follow your ideals.
Ver postHowever the player's own judgement will impact how they view her story after this point. If you believe that the idol industry is innately evil then you will take issue with Rise learning to love her work again. If you think sexualization is bad you probably won't enjoy Rise's flirtatious nature.
