As a final note, some people criticize Rise for being obsessed with the MC. Personally, I'd argue her forwardness is incredibly charming and actually gives her more agency as a romantic option than most. Is it a power fantasy? Of course, it's fucking Persona. The entire premise is a power fantasy

This seems to lead to some people having the opinion that "tofu Rise" was more interesting. To each their own but I find that to be a sad outlook as it ignores a good story of rediscovering your passion. It is also again rejecting a character because they don't follow your ideals.
