I know some people who lives in country witb lgbt protection law fantasize about living in a country that have no codified protection for lgbt for many other reasons... uh from my experience, it is living in "dont ask dont tell" society and its sysyem. Its not good. Dont do that.
Ver postTrauma survivors have a notoriously hard time distinguishing self-discipline from self-punishment (ask me how I know). Self-discipline is an irreplaceable recovery tool that has to be engaged w/ compassion & perspective. Self-punishment is almost aways us reenacting our abuse.
