Gostilna Sokol, Ljubljana 🇸🇮 2nd visit after 12 year gap! Public holiday here. Unchanged format. A tourist's gentle, hokey intro to the Gostilna (Inn). Prices people associate with Austria rather than Slovenia. Dark beer brewed for the pub is really lovely. The casual pubby area is by the bar 🍻👍
Post anzeigenLoo-Blah-Nah, Ljubljana 🇸🇮 1st visit. Craft beer bar in the colonnades by the river. 4 lines on. Had their Pale Ale before which was yeah ok, and this English ale with four different Slovenian hop styles was ok too. Building work is spoiling the terrace but the inside isn't bad. No toilets though🤷♂️🍻
Post anzeigenVoyager Craft Bar, Ljubljana 🇸🇮 1st visit. Taproom in a shabby precinct near train station. Small bar. 17 taps, 12 of which are Slovenian. Music and disco ball going which feels a little early. Interesting sideroom/atrium used for gigs. Halloween 🎃 decor of course. Could be interesting when busy🍻
Post anzeigenLevstik Pub, Ljubljana 🇸🇮 2nd visit. One of the last remaining true pubs in the city centre where locals hang out and socialise. At €2.90 a pint it's not surprising, well below average. Darts, football and a pubby interior. Busy and bustling tonight. Given all the closures, I'll take it. 🍻👍
Post anzeigenŽmauc, Ljubljana 🇸🇮 1st visit. After Corner Pub failed this was the backup. Actually quite a nice surprise. Free goulash for Halloween. There's a mayoral election on so I think they're trying to butter up voters. Autumn colours on the terrace, inside less interesting but lively. 👍🍻
