Post anzeigen::shakes head:: ah yes, Edgar and his *ahem* altruism. ::knowing full well that the man cannot stand tepid water even for a day, makes a note to chide him later::
Post anzeigenUltimately, of course, Sabin realizes that Gau's happiness is more important than Gau's relationship with his father, and I think this fuels him even more to become a good father figure for him. 🥹
Post anzeigenSo I think Sabin's feelings are really complicated when it comes to Gau and his father. He wants Gau to have a better relationship with his father than he himself had. But he also wants Gau's father to see that his "demon child" is actually a wonderful kid (a bit of self-projection, maybe?). 😭
Post anzeigenI have the impression that Sabin has some baggage around his father; Edgar was the "favorite" child, and Sabin - being a weak and sickly child, afflicted with the same genetic disease as Stewart's brother - was always somewhat in Edgar's shadow in their dad's eyes.
