anyway making myself laugh imagining a guy saying kill bill makes game of death unwatchable, it's impossible to go back lmao. it's the other way around. these games should (and i do think ultimately will, despite the social media debates) inspire more people to explore their inspirations
Post anzeigenits playing out with queen's domain now but i was closer to it for spark the electric jester where it became a small scale but intense fandom war because you know sonic fans lol and that really turned much of the audience away from a fantastic game because it had been used as a cudgel online
Post anzeigenit's a shame that if you're a small independent dev and you make a game inspired by a beloved classic which has fallen from prominence your reward for success is lots of fans saying those old games are unplayable and you've finally fixed them
