f×g . Another reason for not using juxtaposition to mean multiplication. Succinct notation is good, but not so succinct as to use nothing to mean something.

Honestly, I wouldn't use the addition notation either, but if I was forced to use it and make up an equivalent in this case, I'd use f·f

In #MathsToday we noticed how the shadows of the minfigs were changing with distance from the light source and modeled it with a rational function. This lab is so much easier now with cellphone lights than lightbulbs we stole from science back in the day. #Algebra2
