Post anzeigenSo now we have moved the 🔭 to visit M52, which in the FOV includes C11 the bubble nebula, up and to right of the cluster. M52, Open cluster ~35M years old, 5,000 light years away. Bubble Nebula, Carved out by a monster star 44x heavier than the Sun with 4million mph winds! 😲
Post anzeigenCalifornia Nebula(NGC 1499) is a large emission nebula lit up by the bright star Xi Persei. It is a faint nebula about 5x the width of a full moon so I used my widest field scope to image it. Total exp: 7 hours, 09/07/26 #astronomy #astrophotography
