Post anzeigenPerhaps not, but he was happy to use priors when a sampling interpretation was available, e.g. in gene selection models, and then there's the whole 'fiducial inference' thing, which seems to be a kind of circle-squaring exercise that no knows what to make of.
Post anzeigenIt can, but in addition to the inference framework as a decision theory application, not wedged into the middle the way that N-P seems to. On balance, I believe Fisher took the Bayesian side on this one: inference is the statistician's problem but decision is the scientist's problem.
