i most certainly do agree and i also sent it to Becs Fisher cos of the Nuffield Trust health policy summit debate back in March about the future of the partnership model which featured some GPs who still believed in it

we geriatricians/acute/general physicians (and EM colleagues) are also "expert generalists" and also recognise that patients that often have multiple things going on at once and may present in undifferentiated ways cannot be packaged/triaged neatly into groups it is not low risk elective surgery
