The encouraging sign for Crockett is the polls she’s winning in she’s clearing 50%. Problem is even in those polls she’s only doing as well as she was being polled as a hypothetical before she entered the races. Imo if you’re either candidate you should be viewing this race as a dead heat

Crockett is a celebrity, she has a national profile as a partisan bomb thrower. Talarico is a newcomer to national fame/recognition, he’s been a tx leg for longer than Crockett has been a politician, he’s fairly well known to Texans and still working from a name ID disadvantage

From the trends in polling (which tbf are all over the place), Talarico’s coalition more closer mirrors Zohran’s primary coalition, and Crockett is winning Cuomo’s. Tho there is more evidence of Crockett’s strength with Latino voters atp, her base is still older voters and black voters.
