I can say that I am utterly devastated to see the results of the “other nine” questions. The scapegoating of newcomers is about to get a lot worse and that is a loss for all Albertans and Canadians.

Nobody likes wonks except other wonks. It applies to everything, not just zoning. ‘Be normal’ is the best political strategy.

Another Vancouver thought: I've said regularly that political candidates who focus intensely on housing development and debating with people over zoning issues tend to do poorly with the public. Colleen Hardwick once against failed to expand her base. OneCity didn't grow. The truism holds.
