Since 2022, DeVonta Smith has run 252 routes (equivalent of roughly 9 games) *without* A.J. Brown on the field. On those plays, he's averaged 2.6 yards per route run. That's 99th percentile. For reference, only WRs who averaged better than 2.6 YPRR in 2025: Puka Nacua and JSN.

For that we need a model that accounts for seasonality, long term trends, and change points. My friend @seanjtaylor.com and Ben Letham made some great software to do just that called prophet (use it for forecasting the future and maybe making some $).
