Pinups typically are a dynamic pose showing a person’s curves in an appealing way, usually with some sort of hourglass body and older art style. Think super old sailor jerry tats of women propped up in uniforms or leaning against something. This is wayyy less traditional pinup wise in all ways 💔

In the theater, everything has to be super exaggerated and over the top because it has to reach the cheap seats. You can't just be mean, you have to be MEAN, because otherwise it doesn't travel. And that's innately understood by the audience, because the entire performance is directed right at you.
